My calling

"Stand up! For I have chosen you as my servant. You will tell people about me - what you have seen today and what I will show you." Acts 26:16 ERV

My vision

To live a selfless-life, fully submitted to Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit. To follow where He leads and faithfully complete every assignment He gives to me.

My purpose

To glorify the Father through a fruitful life in Christ, His son, by the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit.

Brief Overview

I was born on 20 September 1968 in the Free State town of Harrismith in South Africa. My best primary school years were spent in this histroric town with its scenic surroundings. I completed my high school years in Witbank, a large town in Mpumalanga, South Africa. Here I matriculated at Hoëskool Generaal Hertzog in 1986. It was during these years that I was born again and started following Jesus in the winter of 1983. In 1984 I was baptized in the Holy Spirit and in 1985  the Lord spoke clearly to me through Acts 26:16 and called me into the full-time ministry.
In obedience to this call I studied theology at the Apostolic Faith Mission Theological Seminary in Aucklandpark, Johannesburg.
In 1990, the South African Defence Force placed me in Cape Town as a national service chaplain.
After completing a year compulsary service, I received a call to co-pastor the AFM Rondebosch-East assembly (now AFM Kenwyn) for two years. After that I served for almost ten and a half years as the senior pastor of AFM Cape Town.
This was followed with a very brief period as co-pastor in AFM Goodwood.
From 2013to 2014 I served as co-pastor of AFM Helderberg in the Somerset-Strand area of Cape Town.
Towards the end of 2014 I received a call to a co-pastoring position at Christensentrum in Elspark, Germiston.
Since May 2017 I have been serving as the senior pastor of this assembly.
